Built by an applicant, for applicants.
I'm in the N-400 process myself. Everything in CivicsPath exists because I needed it for my own interview.
I built this because I'm preparing for my own interview.
I filed my N-400 in early 2026, completed biometrics, and started waiting for my interview date. The wait was the hardest part — months of low-grade anxiety with nothing to do about it except study.
Most study apps treat you like a teenager preparing for a quiz. Streak-shaming, ad-driven, gamified to the point of mockery. I wanted something calmer. Something that respected my time and my intelligence.
So I built it. CivicsPath is the tool I wished existed when I started. The 128 questions. Spaced repetition that actually works. A mock interview that uses my own answers from my N-400 — because the civics part is the easy part. The hard part is sitting across from an officer answering questions about my own life.
I'm sharing it with friends going through the same thing first. If it helps you too, that's the point.

What CivicsPath is not.
- Not legal advice. We're not attorneys, paralegals, or USCIS representatives.
- Not a guarantee. The test depends on test-day variables we don't control.
- Not a leaderboard. No streaks shaming you for missing a day.
- Not a bot you negotiate with. The mock interview gives feedback, not approval.
