Because we'd rather lose a sale than your trust.
If CivicsPath isn't right for you, you shouldn't have to fight a forgotten subscription to leave. We don't ask for your card until you decide — after seven days — that you actually want to keep going. That's what calm, ad-free, no-tricks looks like in practice.
The fair version, plainly stated.
The 7-day trial
No card required. Full access for 7 days. If you don't subscribe, your trial ends — no charge, no friction, no guilt-trip emails.
Cancel anytime
One click in Settings. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for. No "are you sure" pop-ups three times in a row.
No refunds for partial months
You keep what you paid for through the end of the period. No prorated refunds — but also no surprise charges or invisible renewals.
Stuck on something?
Email hello@civicspath.app — replies come from a real person (often me, Deco). If something's broken, we'll fix it or refund you, full stop.
Common questions.
When does my trial start — at signup or at first session?
At first signin. You can browse the public study surface anonymously without starting your trial. The 7 days begin the moment you sign in with Google or email to save your progress.
What happens after 7 days if I don't subscribe?
Your access to study sessions and mock interviews pauses. Your data — streak, history, badges — stays intact, view-only. Subscribe anytime to pick up exactly where you left off.
Can I get my interview ready in 7 days?
Probably not from scratch — most people need 4–6 weeks. The trial is meant to let you decide if our method works for you, not to be your full study runway. Subscribe if you want to keep going.
Why monthly only? No annual discount?
Most people get their citizenship in 3–6 months and don't need an annual plan. We don't want to lock you into something you'll outgrow. Pay month to month, cancel when you're sworn in.
Are there family or group discounts?
Not at launch. If you're studying with a partner, we'll have Partner Mode in a future release — designed specifically for spouses preparing N-400 biographical answers together.
Do you have a free version forever?
Yes. The 128 questions, official answers, audio, civic context, the anonymous mock test, the reading vocabulary list, and the blog are free forever — no signup. Subscription unlocks the system that makes you actually retain the material.
What if I'm not happy?
Email us. If something's broken or didn't work as advertised, we'll refund the charge. The trial is the main filter — if you subscribe, it's because you've already used it for a week and decided it was worth it.
